Is this a thing other ppl here do too?

The best way to lift stuff that i've found is just masking up, wear some clothes that are either stolen and gonna be sold, or were very cheap, and taking what you want without getting caught. Everyone seems to be about concealing but more and more all stores are pretty much totally watched by cameras. One walmart here is like an actual fortress with tons of armed guards, it has a camera down every aisle except shoes and grocery, but there's plainclothes lp in shoes at least. Its crazy shit. And it has the benefit of ur face not getting on camera.

Anyone get caught like this, like am i just stupid/lucky??

I've just recently graduated to doing small walkouts. Up until now i've been doing concealing in my coat pockets, sleeves, waistbands and what not, or self checkout pretend-scan.

I've started small with walk outs, groceries mostly. I find it helps to bring a plastic bag from the same store (from some previous visit, i always save the bags), get your items in a basket, then just around the store's pharmacy corner bag them and at that point .... well, book it!

By which I mean, drop the basket and carry the bag, pretend to stop at the pharmacy window to ask something stupid. Then walk out as if you've paid for the items at the pharmacy counter, .... which is what you tell someone if they give you funny looks, "what was that? Receipt?, (pretend to beat your pockets) ummm, i don't think they gave me one" and walk out! No one's actually stopped me so far ... fingers crossed!

I see it as I need to look like I can afford what's in my basket...and i don't act like I am stealing...I don't grab like 5 of the same thing...always stop at the clearance section just to look...sometimes I will look at something and put it back like an actual browsing customer...once I make it out the door I hastily walk to my car usually kinda Zig zag some buy I definitely don't run or bolt...I have walked right past cart guys...I always thought wouldn't someone look at the cart and think why does he have anything in bags. Knock on wood been doing it for over a year now to about 4 different HD for a while multiple times a week no lie

No...why would I want to? Doesn't that that make it worse of you do get caught/ now they have a real reason to sick the cops on you

I don't entirely understand your question I guess. You're just saying dress in crappy clothes and do a walkout with items in hand? What's the point of the clothes exactly? Everything I've seen, if you look poor/dirty, you will be assumed to be up to no good and followed or Lp will just wait for you when you try to leave.

i guess tbh i asked a silly question, cause really its just a walkout, just people tend to talk about walkouts like u wanna be as normal as possible and everything so they dont suspect u, but then they got ur face and everything... lowes here has facial recognition stuff for example. idk. Different tactics but i think its more important to not get caught in the long run than to pull off a certain theft easier by looking the part exactly. anyways not saying this should work at all for anywhere with active lp, just fuckers sitting in a room or there to review footage later
