I've thought about trying something like this but when I got to looking into thing's a little more I found out that employee theft is actually higher than customer theft and one part the LP job is stopping employee shrink. I wad was going give it a try during Black Friday this yr but the rona happen. I think a really busy day at a location miles from home wld be a time it cld payoff 🤷🏽‍♂️

Good point. I wonder if the fact that a bunch of new employees are being hired due to the busy season would help/hurt the chances of being tagged by LP.

Another thing I think wld work well with this would be having a partner arrive totally separate from u then load one those flat carts up and pretend I'm just random employee helping a customer load his thing's. Hell maybe even have a decent size receipt in hand 🤔 it's for sure worth looking into

This is not 100% factual. Inside shrink is higher than external but it is not due to internal theft. Inventory screw ups carry the highest percentage. That would be someone at the dock who did not sign off on every pallet. Someone did a store to store transfer and did not log the merchandise leaving or the store receiving. In the end it is mistakes in inventory that account for high internals because it is an employee who makes the mistake.
