Hi everyone. As you know, with the COVID-19 pandemic, there are quarantine/stay at home orders, stores are closing, etcetera.

I live in a smaller town, which only has two shopping centers, both are Walmart, and a couple of rural area Dollar stores. Most of these are closed, allowing only a limited number of people at a time, or I'm avoiding entirely due to local crazies. Even before the pandemic, I stayed at home a lot of the time. I study from home, dislike socializing, and all that stuff. Despite that, I still enjoy going outside, exploring shops, stealing from big corporations...

I started seriously lifting in January or Feburary, and tend to pick up about $20 worth of stuff minimum, the highest I've gone so far is ~$70, and it's slowly increasing without me trying. I don't really feel guilty for lifting, a lot of the items I only take because I know I will enjoy and use them, and I don't feel any remorse stealing from Walmart.

My only problem (and the reason for this thread) is that ever since I started self-isolating, I've been feeling more of a need to shoplift, and anxious to get out and steal something. Anything. I wanted to get a second opinion, because I feel that I may have some sort of withdrawal from the rush that shoplifting gjves me. Do you guys experience withdrawal from shoplifting? How do you deal with it?

I feel it more from the loss of income. I can’t wait for stores to reopen so I can sell shit again

Man, I'm sorry. It really is affecting people from all walks of life. I wanted to sell to get some extra cash for stuff, but I don't even know where to start, and I don't want it to look sketch, you know?

Sometimes I take 15$, sometimes upwards of 700$ at a time, but none of that matters from an income perspective if I have to hoard it in a house. I don’t experience withdrawal, but it would be nice to be able to offload some jackets.

I'd totally buy one off you to help out if I could afford it. Best of luck to you. ♡

I’ve been dying for a hobby lobby haul, even though I have plenty of arts and craft supplies to keep me occupied for another month or two. I got a bottle of shampoo at cvs today and it felt so good😊

I've been dying for a Michael's haul. There's a Michael's far away from me that has its copics shelf lock broken. Somebody took the initiative to help me. Haven't checked if they fixed it since last week.

Disappointing because I can't burn out that Michael's too fast. I also prepared a side bag instead of a backpack because summer sucks for grabbing anything.

I had to go grocery shopping with someone a couple days ago and I managed to swipe something against my better judgement. The house now smells like orange and mango Yankee Candle.

I didn't really notice too much of a difference in crowd even though there was a man standing at the door with a tablet, who appeared to be counting how many in and out, with other people around him that looked like they were standing guard or something? Weird as fuck.

Hobby lobby has stepped it up around me adding alarms and cameras.

Are they real? I worked at one like 6 years ago and they had fake dome cameras. Staff was hyper-vigilant for that same reason though.
