Hi everyone. As you know, with the COVID-19 pandemic, there are quarantine/stay at home orders, stores are closing, etcetera.
I live in a smaller town, which only has two shopping centers, both are Walmart, and a couple of rural area Dollar stores. Most of these are closed, allowing only a limited number of people at a time, or I'm avoiding entirely due to local crazies. Even before the pandemic, I stayed at home a lot of the time. I study from home, dislike socializing, and all that stuff. Despite that, I still enjoy going outside, exploring shops, stealing from big corporations...
I started seriously lifting in January or Feburary, and tend to pick up about $20 worth of stuff minimum, the highest I've gone so far is ~$70, and it's slowly increasing without me trying. I don't really feel guilty for lifting, a lot of the items I only take because I know I will enjoy and use them, and I don't feel any remorse stealing from Walmart.
My only problem (and the reason for this thread) is that ever since I started self-isolating, I've been feeling more of a need to shoplift, and anxious to get out and steal something. Anything. I wanted to get a second opinion, because I feel that I may have some sort of withdrawal from the rush that shoplifting gjves me. Do you guys experience withdrawal from shoplifting? How do you deal with it?
