I think this is something that should once again be done- public displays of power and protection for all people who need it (e.g. anything not done by rightists).

I think that's what the various Huey Newton gun clubs, Trigger Warning Queer and Trans gun clubs, and John Brown Gun clubs (along with some Redneck Revolt groups) are doing. I think it's worthwhile, along with quite a few of the things the Panthers did.
