Saturday is bath day. Otherwise, only if I'm going out into a cramped public space. I'm lucky to have a pretty subtle odor, so I only really need to eat well to get on fine unless I've been rolling in filth.

I shower once a day, because my hair gets really, really bad if I don't. I flush usually, living in a seven person house with the bathroom right by my room doesn't lend well to... not.

I only shower twice a week and flush the toilet when it turns yellow

And that certain level can't be maintained by using a washcloth regularly?

so laundry

Good point, thanks! Will add it to the original post. I only own a simple, yet small washing machine basically intended for use in community gardens or while camping. As it can not contain hold so many clothes, I drive to a self-service laundry in another neighborhood occasionally.

But maybe I will ask my neighbors if they would like to share their washing machine. Maybe thats more (eco-)logical not to support companies and connect. Does anyone know what is more efficient in terms of energy-usage?
