The "great reset" is a non binding sustainable economic development plan that, like it's predecessor agenda 21, will be largely ignored and irrelevant but will forever live on in the minds of conspiracy theorists as some evil but vague master plan to commit genocide and put microchips in people or whatever conspiracy nonsense is trending at the moment.

Vandana Shiva

The mere mention of this lying quack is enough to elicit seething rage in me. She is a huckster that makes an average of 40K per speaking engagement. She would rather people starve than receive GMO food aid. She spreads misinformation, lies about science and weaves intricate false conspiracy theories.

I've been here longer than you.

Will providing sources help? Or will you simply dismiss everything?

Vandana Shiva has a doctorate in philosophy. She has claimed instead that she has doctorate in physics and more recently quantum physics, she does not. She is lying.

She has claimed the GM cotton is responsible for a spike in farmer suicides. The spike in suicides started five years before GM cotton was available. She has misrepresented data by using statistics from areas where cotton isn't grown to back up her claim.

She misrepresents Genetic use restriction technology a.k.a terminator seeds. She claims that they will spread and sterilize the earth. Terminator seeds have never been sold, they didn't even leave the laboratory. And by definition a sterile plant can't spread it's traits, it's sterile.

It is as "non-biding" as the Monroe Doctrine, the Shanghai Agreement or the Kyoto Protocol.

None of those are even comparable. The Monroe doctrine was an internal US policy that didn't concern itself with the consent of those we were "protecting" from European powers.

The Kyoto protocol is a treaty to limit green house gasses, it is binding, right up until it isn't as the US and Canada both withdrew and not everyone signed it in the first place.

shanghai agreement

I have no idea what your talking about here. all I can find is this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanghai_Fugu_Agreement

About a fake law that German politicians pranked each other with.

I reiterate. "the great reset" and agenda 21 are toothless sustainable development recommendations. There's nothing sinister here and they will be largely ignored by the governments of the world.

dangerous extractive industries like nuclear

I don't think I can change your mind. But civil Nuclear power has the least deaths and lowest emissions per unit of energy produced. Weapons proliferation is the only criticism I consider to be valid. I'm not going to talk at length about this because you've already made up your mind.

to parrot mainstream media promotion

In what world do you live in that Nuclear power is painted in a positive light by the media?

Anarchist literature is Humanities. There are no farms and few non-human animals in anarchist writing. You won't find dogs, cattle, horses etc. in anarchist literature! It's just urban entertainment.

A reading said we should all go primitive and live off the land. Then it turned out that an organiser promoting this--didn't have a garden!

Thank you, I watched that video with interest. And I had much agreement with Vandana Shiva. The video narrator, however, I found found to be using emotive arguments.

Actually, I understand that India is becoming less habitable because of global warming. Australia too has a problem of farmer suicide, whenever there's drought. Desertification, which started with introducing rabbits and overstocking land, is becoming more severe because of global heating.

We do indeed need to change our traditional customs. Whole populations need to relocate, for climatic reasons.

I practise horticulture that is mostly organic. One can try to mitigate some problems.

I do not agree with hand-wringing, which I consider ineffective. Rather than complaining that I am at the mercy of others, I do what I can to fix problems.
