Hello. I recently started my own garden and want to attract bats. I can build my own bat box, does anyone have any good links for plans or experience to share? Thank you!

Try to search for the endemic species in your area. They have some preference for fruit trees

Guava attracts them from miles away. Really pungent fruit

Th guava tree always bugged me bc it is grey and looks like it's always dry. The guavas without care grew very little like little lemons or huge Cherries (ok maybe big cherries are an overstatement).

But I remember by night the scent of Night-blooming jasmine and guava flowers

I planted a guava because the smell make carnists vomit. No joke

Yeah why some people have so strong reaction to certain fruit. Guava, papaya, ripe bananas, jackfruit...

The smell of iron of blood and flesh for them is ok ¯_(ツ)_/¯

uh weird, we've had a guava tree for like a decade but never seen a single bat around. i guess bats dont really live here.

My fig tree was attracting them, but I think it's too cold now, and they've headed north.
