The Difference Between Seedling, Grafted and Cutting Grown Fruit Trees

Tree grafting is a crime against nature to me. Locking-in biomass of clones for centuries instead of "allowing" evolution is sickening. It's one of the things humans do without much thought at all that honestly chills me to the core.

While it certainly isn't my favorite way of plant growing it is amazing what plants are capable of in what for essentially any other type of life would be a fatal wounding. Although the monoculture it encourages is seriously destructive to both the environment and the cultured species, it also (in my opinion) stagnates plant breeding, with people getting far to comfortable with the same species that have been used for sometimes centuries with no changes.
