Maybe this thread would be more popular with a title like:

"Weekly Gaming General Discussion Thread: Tales of salt and glory? New game? Revisiting an old one? Anything gaming goes!"

Played a little bit of that game "starbound" seems like a game that I would really like (space exploration, procedurally generated terrain on randomly generated planets, lots of mods), but I can't get over the colonization aspect of it. I just land on a planet and start blasting everything apart for...resource extraction. Various indigenous beings attempt to protect their home, but the league of protectors or whatever see fit to execute their entitlement on every planet in their reach. No wonder a giant octopus thing destroyed their base, the protagonists seem like the real threat...

Thank you, I've been wanting to name it differently but couldn't think of a proper title. I'll use this from now on.

Thanks!

Actually I think 1 tiny change might be even more inclusive:

"Weekly Gaming General Discussion Thread: Tales of salt or glory? New game? Revisiting an old one? Anything gaming goes!"

Saying "Tales of salt or glory" opens it up a bit more grammatically speaking.

I like being able to discuss gaming topics. Gaming is just as much a medium of expression as any other, and the concept of games is an ancient thing and found in many cultures and civilizations; but I've been driven away from the broader "gaming community" due to its incredibly toxic culture, so it's nice to have a place to talk about it with other radicals peeps.
