I am not. The best star wars game experience I've ever had was Star Wars Galaxies before Sony. That honestly was the peak of Star Wars gaming. KOTOR is in 2nd. There is no 3rd.

Exclusive licensing of IP to giant companies is also terrible.

EDIT: This is just a modern game rant, but SWG was one of the last mmorpg's to me to take economic realism and game difficulty seriously that wasn't also space world simulator (Eve Online). They didn't hand-hold you at all. Modern mmorpgs are unplayable to me. I do enjoy mobas though.

the only mmorpg I played was dofus, and the economy aspect there was pretty cool: items there can not be dropped and have to be crafted using resources, themselves crafted from other ressources. So there's a chain of actions made by different users until the final item, which made the game have the marketplace as a core component, and gave it a thriving economy.

If your standard for game difficulty is Eve Online you're pretty fucked lol.

AHEM!

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, rings any bell, or you were too young back then? That first one totally was the first Star Wars FPS game where you could fight with lightsabers, and it also had completely original plot, characters, levels... and game engine.

Also that spinoff Jedi Academy was pretty fun.

Never played Fallen Order (never had a proper machine for it, lol) but it looked pretty well-made, and a relief away from those abysmal Force Unleashed games.

I played them both: Jedi Knight & Academy. I have very fond memories of Academy pvp. To me, the two other games are still head and shoulders above em.

You mean the first Jedi Knight or the Raven game that was literally ripping off its plot, but this time with a raptor as the main dumb villain? As for me I was referring to the Lucasarts game, that was one hell of a '90s classic.

Jedi Academy was the right Raven game, imo. That part where you fight a mutant giga-Rancor beast got me. Too bad this particular franchise was abandoned, but with the Disney Acquisition I wouldn't get my hopes too high for a comeback to the adventures of Kyle & Jan.
