Yeah, I would not be surprised if Vault-Tec wasn't in on the war in the first place. That take was so bad i actually spit water out of my mouth when I saw it. Vault-Tec are straight-up like IBM/Ford in WW2 enabling and participating in the grotesque acts against humanity "in the name of science".
