Looking to get a high-end phone worth of £850+ but not sure the refund will go through.
UK Amazon claims they scan the IMEI of each of the phones they’re shipping out so that they’ll report them as stolen, making ‘em blacklisted when the item was reported as not received. Such phones becomes useless..
They also claim that they register the IMEI of the phone with loss and theft databases right after the order was reported as “not received”. ( so basically when you’re trying to get a refund on it)
Is that true?
