I'm under the impression that the French gov has invented this ultimatum that if the country is to support more migrants, then the pension age will have to go up... In order to finance it?

Interesting article, a bit dense, can't tell if it's maybe a translation thing or a communism thing haha. A few too many Trotsky quotes for my liking. Their point about the Inter-Union's disregard for basic working class needs, in favour of a strategic "goal-oriented" approach focused solely on the pension reform ... is all so recognizable. Sigh! Why do I find it all so depressing!

This article / series of articles is great. About halfway through. The addition of creative nonfiction written accounts really gives so much life to it.
