Young people are fucked healthwise. It’s gonna be like mesothelioma, but hundreds of times worse.

Also as somebody with terrible tap water, this is terrifying.

Some of the best available data is on water, with bottled water containing 22 times more microplastic than tap water on average. A person who only drank bottled water would consume 130,000 particles per year from that source alone, the researchers said, compared with 4,000 from tap water.

I remember facebook arguments where everyone called me anti-vaccines because I said all the glyphosphate weedkiller were bad news. But i was the "irrational" one, for pointing to the lack of independently funded studies without interference from the chemical companies, I was "paranoid" for emphasizing the crimes of Monsanto worldwide in bioengineering farmers into debt.

Well, I am irrational and paranoid, but I was also right too Fuckers! Wish i wasnt tho

Yeah, they're the astringent type. That's why she eats the fully ripe one from the tree but leaves the rest to dry before eating them. Fuyus are squat in shape rather than round, acorn or egg shaped. These look like Hachiyas.

Fuyus do get soft when left on the tree. I leave mine on the tree until they're mush.

I just eat rice and beans with some vegan mayonnaise everyday and take a multivitamin when I remember to. Its probably not enough, but the macros are definitely all there.

I tried doing a soylent/huel DIY and it worked out pretty well but I was having to get a new bag of oat flour everyday and mixing everything together was a pain and if I didnt clean out the bottle it was pretty bad. I havent done it in a while. The local food coop sells bulk soy flour which has really good macros so I might try again using that. (Soy protein, oat flour, flaxseed, canola oil was my recipe for anyone curious)
