Finally got to watch Kung Fury, it's incredibly fun, over the top everything at all times. It's hilarious.

Finally got to watch Sorry to bother you, that first section gave me flashbacks, fuck working in a call center. The second section was very unexpected.

Captain marvel comes out this weekend, I'll make an effort to see it.

Glad to hear Kung Fury is that hilarious, I've also been delaying watching it.

I delayed it way too much, I heard of it when the Kickstarter was first announced.

is that high quality torrents? What does that mean?

I mostly wait for movies to join the popcorn-time library.

Movies get released on Korean streaming sites before they get released on DVD/Itunes/Blu/etc.

First the cams come out, then the telesyncs (with line sound), then korsubs. They're decent quality but they have burned in Korean subs that are usually blurred out. Then a month or two later come the webrips and then the Blu Ray rips.

I skip the cams and ts's usually and wait for korsubs.

I think u/ziq is talking about when a movie get released early in crappy quality with hardcoded korean subs. So basically "as soon as there is something up online ziq is watching it".

I loved Sorry to Bother You. I couldn't possibly describe it to someone without spoiling it. It was great.

Bus 174, a documentary about a young guy taking hostages on a bus in Rio.

The documentary goes into a lot about life for the street kids in Brazil and their conditions. It's interesting watching this and then to find out the director (José Padilha) did both Elite Squad movies too.

I tried to watch R.I.P.D. I turned it off halfway through; I just couldn't anymore.

I watched Wreck-it Ralph 2 with my daughter last Sunday. I was horrified by it - it was a practice in brand-name recognition. It was clear kids were supposed to be taking in all those fucking logos.

So, nothing good this week.
