My contempt for "bioqueens" grows. Drag isn't for cis women because it never was for cis women. It's a space for GB men and transwomen, and always has been, though the latter find ourselves increasingly edged out by the former because HRT and taking actual steps to pass in day to day life are 'cheating', at least as a thinly veiled smoke screen for transmisogyny. Being a cis woman isn't a free pass to invade spaces you're not invited into any more than cis men have a right to enter womens' spaces (or trans men, but plenty of Aidens enroll in womens' colleges and then try to oust trans women anyway). If trans femmes can't safely participate in something we helped start, why should cis women who perpetuate cis- and heteronormativity have any right to either?

Nah, like, keep it up. It's still a woman's perspective, just a deeply flawed and appropriative one. I'm just yelling because holy shit the level of entitlement in her writing. Like, drag's a play on gender normativity, yeah. But a cis woman overperforming femininity isn't anything particularly avant garde, it's just an invasion of queer space to make it 'legit' in the eyes of cishets by doing what they already do.
