Imagine if you lack even one of these qualities. Imagine if your behavior, or your voice, or your face, or the life you’ve lived doesn’t perfectly match what is demanded of the ideal victim. Would you be believed?
I mean, this reality is what has dominated my life in America as a black male. There is no ideal victim for black men. Which is another sick symptom of the patriarchy of America, in that female victims can "at least" be seen as having something to offer in that if they fit a narrative of attraction or expectation then the male conscience will provide more sympathy.
