Next week marks the 15th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq to topple the government of Saddam Hussein.

The rest is more than fair and enough to agree with; but Hussein was committing a genocide against the Kurdish people of Iraq, and I could not be happier to see him hung.

Of course, Iran, Cuba, Guatemala... the rest are unforgivable, entirely. Especially after reading this.

Of course, the actions prior all regarding Iraq were horrid; this is looking at it isolated.

It's fine. The genocide did not have anything to do with it (the UN itself has defined it as genocide following his chemical attacks.) The justifications of the war were wrong. The way the war was handled was wrong. But I'm just happy to, at the end of the day, see a fascist hanging.
