something about that line reminds me of something that struck me reading Fanon

When he describes the holocaust as "little family quarrels" it really makes you reframe how intensely the world is built to erase the suffering of black Africans and their diaspora

Fanon was very influenced by Césaire; he at one point says in the Wretched of the Earth "Not so long ago, Nazism transformed the whole of Europe into a genuine colony." You could also argue Césaire's statements about how 'Europeans each have a Hitler inside them' as being extended by Fanon's analysis of the psychology of the colonized.

reading like cesaire, fanon, & wynter one after another is really cool to see them elaborate on each other's thoughts in interesting ways
