Radical Ecologies and Ecologized Marxisms

Ecosocialism, broadly conceived, is a category containing several distinct, radical, Marxist- and anarchist-oriented theories with a large amount of theoretical overlap and agreement. This includes Joel Kovel's Hegelian-Marxist ecosocialism, John Bellamy Foster and Monthly Review's Marxist ecosocialism, the social ecology of Murray Bookchin and John P. Clark, and environmental syndicalism, among others.

All of these variations within ecosocialism are overwhelmingly anti-authoritarian and revolutionary.
