Seemed to be a satire first, but becomes serious in the end. It's not understandable for me how someone advocate so serious and heavily for motorized, individual transport.

Back in the 1990s however, something more disturbing happened in Germany: In an interview by Dennis Mascarenas seen in the movie "Deckname Dennis" someone of the APD (german political party for the car drivers and for citizens interests) says, without any irony, driving bans are comparable to concentration camps and drivers are nowadays comparable to the Jews who were haunted and killed by Nazis during german Fascism.

As I heard about that for the first time my hope and faith in humanity decreased immense. So this event in Minnesota is still unbelievable, but at least caused no shock. Nevertheless. Humans are weird.
