I think the core needs a new shallow end. A pool can be complex, and have many beaches.

I'm not sure where you're going with this, but Deleuze says some interesting stuff about State or 'royal' sciences versus nomad or minor sciences that might be interesting for you. But I don't know much about how much other Deleuze you'd have to be familiar with for it not to seem like strange nonsense.
