I think not being sure about where you stand is a really productive position to be in. People who are sure of their position tend to stop learning, stop being open to being wrong, and stagnate.

I also think that we can all assume that we're wrong about many things. The likelihood that this handful of us on the internet are actually generally right about something when there's been billions of smart people in the world who think differently seems pretty small to me. But I think that assuming we're wrong is a great praxis of learning, and also being humble in our approach so we don't end up being preachy or thoughtless.
