funny things that are peak anarcho-redditor

anarky fucking breaks into prison to free.... batman

He actually really wants to ally with batman

Dude fucking find a bunch of rich guys who do war profiteering and use weapons of mass destruction on poor people. Anarky captures them but frees them bc killing someone whos hobby is slaughtering thousands is wrong.

When he captures the rich people he runs a mock trial for publicity. Classic anarcho-redditor when the praxis is just trying to radicalize the masses that rich people bad rather than actually helping people.

Just like spiderman this guy beats up criminals and then leaves them for the cops to arrest

I mean, if it glorifies violence, self centeredness, and distrust of every one who's not like you, it's bound to have a negative influence.

Huh...well I've got unusually intense mixed feelings here. On one hand, it's nice to see that the creator is disgusted by the idea of bloodthirsty cops emulating a fictional mass murderer; on the other, I can't stand the Punisher and can't not see him as a reflection of US culture's fetishism of gun violence, vigilantism, capital punishment, and the occasional glorification of military training. He's literally the perfect symbol for these people; calling him a criminal doesn't detract from that at all.

I slept and ate and slept some more. Didn't even go outside except to walk the dogs, and I waited until 3am to do that.

"We're getting so many calls, and they're saying that the Punisher logo [means] we're out to kill people, and that's not the meaning behind that," Police chief Cameron Logan told io9. "That didn't cross my mind."

It's a goddamn skull. It's a literal symbol of death and mortality, you dipshit; who the fuck would fall for this "whoops" act? That's without bringing up the lore of the comic book character it's taken from.
