One day we're going to look back on this as the good old days.

The good ole days when we had 4 distinct seasons and not 3m fall, 3m spring, and 6m of summer.
What is really bad are the sheer number of ticks and mosquitoes that are out.
My garden took a hard hit this year. It was 40 days before summer officially started and we had almost 3 weeks of mid 90s with no rain. I had not put in drip irrigation yet and my tomatoes are pretty much toast for this year. I'll be lucky if I get half of my normal yield for bell peppers. I am leaning towards clearing out most of the garden and growing pounds of basil and garlic. Make enough pesto and hummus to last me until next year.
