Not this again. Like I said last time, making a lot of posts debunking conspiracy theories about Monsanto and GMOs doesn't mean they're being paid to do so. They could just as easily be people on a crusade against misinformation, who debate people in their free time because they enjoy it. If you have actual proof that they're being paid by Monsanto, then post that.

Demanding their paystubs isn't very reasonable. Between the court documents showing they hire trolls and the 6 reddit accounts that have spent 8 years defending the Monsanto corporation against any critique by viciously attacking everyone and labelling them as 'mentally ill conspiracy theorists' for linking to news articles, you have no leg to stand on. Most fortune 500 corporations engage in astroturfing and Monsanto is the most obvious example.

These were not released to the public, so nothing they say can be verified.

Like I said in the last comment, defending Monsanto doesn't make one a shill.

That's anecdotal evidence - nothing they say can be verified, and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

All of those bits of anecdotable evidence together along with the fact that astroturfing is pretty easy and very common, I think we can say with a fair amount of certainty they're doing it. Can we say "yes, they are absolutely doing it?" No, we don't have enough evidence. But we have enough to say, "yea, they're probably doing it."
