Something I am interested in is the conversations that must be happening around all of these blockades.
What would it take to rip the rails from the ground, to damage them to the point that they are useless, all over the country?

It's because they are nonviolent that they are able to do them.
Once things escalate further on the side of indigenous resistance then the state has more of an excuse to bring terrible violence 'in response'
Rail blockades are proving to be an effective non-violent response to state violence
