a lot in my life's changed, for better and worse, over the past year, and this site has also changed. idk if it's my life circumstances or that i don't like the direction raddle has taken, but this place just isn't as appealing to me as it used to be

still, when i want to discuss bootlickers in tech, i couldn't think of any other place i'd rather be doing it

Exposing the Bootlickers Bred By Archy

Bootlickers are all around us. This vile pestilence must be resisted before it infects the whole human species and results in our ultimate destruction.

A bootlicker is:

Someone who kisses up to their oppressors’ thoughts and feelings rather than being aware of their own communities’ needs to survive. Hypothetically licking your oppressors boot for basic human respect from them.

In modern Marxist terms, a defender of free-market capitalism. A proletariat that licks the oppressive boots of the bourgeois in an attempt to gain their favor and excel in life, rather than rising up against them.

You know you're a bootlicker if you are making minimum wage and support tax cuts for the rich, hoping that one day that money will trickle down off their boots into your open mouth.
