I mentioned it in a couple comments here if anyone was curious.

So I figured out how the whole process works finally.

Basically a potential law suit would happen in TN. The TN court will determine if I do in fact owe the debt and I aint paying it. If they confirm these things they conclude the case. This conclusion is called a judgment.

The my creditor has to take that judgment and file it (or docket) with my county in order to garnish or levy me. The judgment then exists as if it were given by the county itself. In other words once my creditor goes to levy or garnish me it falls under the laws of my state. Which is fantastic news

What this means is (because of my state laws) that the creditor can't force me to sell my house and (if I file the ppwk) they wont be able to garnish my check either.
