Which is sort of silly because hypothetically you could be like "this marriage is fucked" and your spouse could be like "no its not" and then you have to provide evidence to the court that there is "serious marital discord" affecting your "attitude" toward the marriage.

which like obviously there is your filing for divorce

but also its fucked up because your feelings toward the marriage dont matter unless you can prove you have a reason to feel that way.

It sounds like, hypothetically, with written agreement (a stipulation) you can skip having to do a hearing but both parties are required tto have legal representation

I wish theres a way I could discuss this shit with her w/o playing my hand.

Shit would be a lot easier if we could just stay legally married but consider ourselves divorced.

Trying to imagine what things could be like.

The idea of marketing myself on Tinder is making me laugh. I cant really explain why but that shits hilarious. Probably have to ironically call myself a dilf just so for the laughs. God I would be so cringe.

Living separately may not have to be within separate physical locations. I.e. that you live separate lives within the same house, like roommates but with children.

So if you start sleeping separately, then it may be enough to start the timer ticking.

hmm, its hard for me to know for sure the phrasing is living "separate and apart"

It sounds like judges are very unlikely to dismiss the proving of marital discord so it might be unnecessary.

Eventually going to have to talk to a lawyer to fill in my gaps of knowledge.
