First, what does Anarchism have as a potential alternative to the great good that central planning has done for communist/socialist countries in terms of producing what the people needed (with some hang ups, of course)? I mean, the USSR went from borderline feudalism to space, similar caloric intake as Americans, healthier diet than americans, etc. in a relatively short time span. Does Anarchism have something to offer that would rival this sort of thing?
Secondly, how is an anarchist society to maintain itself internally? Forget external forces. Internal forces that desire hierarchy could very easily take over when the masses don’t have time to think about the theory of the politics in their situation as far as I can tell. How would this sort of problem be fixed/avoided?
