Sometimes, I usually pirate old stuff and East Asian movies (I'm in Europe) because I recon the copyright police is more on the ball with the new stuff.
I try not to unless they are an indie artist/director/devloper releasing the thing DRM free (like on Bandcamp or GOG) and I want to support them. Like I recently paid for Night in the Woods because the developers are awesome and I occasionally pay for indie music on Bandcamp
Yes. Google Music, for years (though that also contains a bunch of MP3s that are not available on the service). Netflix. Testing Prime (so-so). Reading a lot of bought books on Google Books.
Otherwise I do buy albums and such to support on say soundcloud.
But if it isn't available in an easy or affordable way. no.
No, since I don't watch TV nor movies, I don't play games, I think music has no meaning, and comics are boring. I'm dead serious on all these things, and I think one's time is better invested elsewhere.
Art has no meaning? it's sad to read that cause music was basically what kept me sane since childhood. Art has absolute meaning to the human existence and without it life would be boring and miserable.
I'm not speaking about the "acapella" part which may have a meaning, but about the "instrumental" part which never makes sense to me only once I started thinking deeply about it. Before I was just like most people, enjoying it.
Music: Torrent or rip from YouTube, but sometimes I donate to a good artist, if I really like what they're doing.
Movies/TV: Torrent, unless my TV antenna happens to pick up a good show.
Books: Torrent, download off Library Genesis, or bought from my local used bookstore.
Games: I only use libre/Free Software, so I only play libre/Free games... and almost always, they're Free and gratis. I do donate sometimes, though.
... basically, I only buy books occasionally, and donate to some artists and developers.
Why would i pay for media, live for the world you want to have. I want a post-consumerist equitable world with artistic expression taking place over financial drive. Therefore i download all my media and where possible shoplift too. Don't feed into the system you want to bring down.

Nope, not for years. Torrents or bust.
Last console I boight was Wii. Never got a blu ray player, and have never paid for music in my life.
boringskip wrote
The Wii is awesome if you hack it. Pirated games, emulators, a whole linux system, etc.

for Music, I've amassed almost everything I need by scouring local libraries and borrowing their CDs.
But I still pay for movie tickets several times a year.
No cable, no TV, not interested in that shit.

Of course not. Paying for it would be supporting the corporate machine. It isn't just stupid, it's actively enforcing capitalism.

Like in the last many years I think I've only bought maybe one game and a couple books.

I bought retro city rampage for Linux recently, that was the first time I paid for media in about a decade.
