I do that sometimes also! Some users have a really pleasant taste in music (shoutout to u/jouissance).

But much of the more punky and metal stuff that gets posted doesn't work for me.

The best method I've discovered is to type a song onto youtube and turn the 'only playlists' setting on. If the song appears in the youtube playlist it will appear on the results for you. The people who made the playlist probably like simaler songs to the one you typed in so you just got a 'music like this playlist'

This seems pretty doable especially when I'm on youtube already, thanks.

Ah, soundtracks often work for me.

I use Shazam if I'm watching something to get that song off the soundtrack, it's been very useful!

First link didn't work; I'm guessing you meant to add ".org" since it's in the next link.

I've still gotta figure out how I relate to this kind of music. I don't dislike it, though.

Oh, thanks.. I didn't notice.. autocorrect.

It's not like it's an established genre...It's just noise

I know some anarchists who put on noise music shows, so I imagine it like a genre.

Heads up though, we try to avoid any ableist language around here, so using 'stupid' is best avoided. You can read up more about it in the sidebar of f/Ability if you like.

I like some of the bandcamp articles and find some pretty interesting artists through that, but truthfully, ive found most of my music through youtube.

If you like Reggae there’s a channel on YouTube called reggaeville that releases new videos almost every day.
