I don’t think imagining an ideal world is authoritarian. Requiring that other people share yours is though.
To explain why i think it is; it is self-policing. The kind of world I want would take multiple generations to bring about and I feel like I probably couldn't imagine it now if I tried. I don't want my present image of a desirable world to obscure the possibilities that may emerge. So rather the kind of world I imagine is as fluid as possible and as open to possibilities as possible, which isn't a concrete image, as I said.
