The issue is that other queer folk, especially the Tumblr 'soft boi' types will often smooth the way in for cishet people bringing themselves in and in the process hurt the most marginalized people actually involved.
I'm not familiar with how it could harm vulnerable people, though I'm open to hearing.

That sounds absolutely disgusting, and those people sound like dipshits looking for ways to validate themselves at the expense of others.
But that doesn't seem to invalidate 'ace doesn't make you queer' as a statement, I don't think.

I heard the point. I said those people sound like dipshits. I don't see how those dipshits make the statement false, or how they can be used to generalize others so easily.

That statement was all I put forward, and your argument has been people that aren't me, so I guess we're in agreement if you don't think the statement is false?

I said I'm ace exclusionist and got compared to a terf, you cited people who aren't me in an argument against it, and I'm still not sure what you were actually trying to say.

I didn't say you did. I said I got compared to one. In the comment this entire thread is a reply to. There was no 'try'.

Your point has been that queer identities are invalidated by dipshits for ace people - I, as a trans woman, got compared to a TERF for thinking "ace" doesn't qualify as queer alone.
I think its exemplary that people aren't in any interaction or understanding and just in elevating themselves against whatever they see as their "inferior", given we're both relying on generalizing examples of invalidating trans women.

It's like if a TERF showed up and they wer eilke "My cONtRaVERsaL idEA is THat tRANies r mEN"
Is saying that I'm "like if a TERF showed up" not comparing me to a TERF, somehow?

At least I got the thread right, given this is the one that's been most controversial.
