I love podcasts & audiobooks, but sometimes I absorb information better with text. I am a bit of a visual person, it's much easier for me to write and read than it is to talk or hear. My pronunciation is total shit for example lol

I'll give this a try though, sometimes with some things it helps me to hear instead of read.
