Water, soy milk (sometimes chocolate-flavoured), various teas, coffee (huge addict), various fruit juices, and the occasional soda (usually sugarfree). I avoid alcohol most of the time.

Homemade slush drinks. The typical is tomatoes, basil, yams, which are grown in my garden and some sour apples taken from my dad's old apple tree. If I get a bonus, I'd get something nice from the market, like avocado, clementine, mango and banana. I found this old blender from dumpster diving, been using it for slush.

Other than that I'm addicted to bubble tea, though I'm a vegan so I could only drink non-dairy stuff. But I love crystal winter melon tea, where they add the sweetened winter melon in.

Totally forgot about bubble tea, love that as well. The only thing with it though is that a lot of times they add waaay too much sugar.

2

Mango wrote

True. Though, you can request them to add half sugar (50%) or less sugar (25%)

2

Fossidarity OP wrote

Yeah they don't have this option all of the times but when I they do I go for 0% or sometimes even 25% when I'm feeling naughty.

What are your favorite options? Or anything that you suggest? The that crystal winter melon and the passionfruit. It's just so many options to try, and I often forget to get new ones. Some store have more vegan-friendly options than other.

My favorite is oolong tea with taro cubes and tapioca bubbles. The coconut shreds are also nice.

I drink a lot of tea, like 1-2 liters in a day, green in the morning and afternoon and herbal "tea" in the evening. I also drink a lot of water when tea is not readily available or I just want to drink something quickly.

When I'm with other people I like to drink beer, sometimes as well alone but I want to keep that at a minimum.

I never could put my finger on it but you're right, it does taste like soil, in a good way!

Whisky, mead, lemonade, switchel, boiled ginger, coffee, tea, cider, cranberry juice and blackberry ginger ale.

So I had to look up switchel. It looks really interesting. Does it feel acidic when you drink it?

2

GaldraChevaliere wrote

Depending on how much cider-vinegar you use. It can have a little bite, but the honey smooths it out and the ginger helps settle your stomach.

rot wrote

I've used it as a cough medicine before

3

bloodrose wrote

wouldn't the cold of the beverage irritate your cough? Or did you heat it up?

2

GaldraChevaliere wrote

I've always had it warm or room temp, I learned to make it from old hikers who would bring it with them to save on sports drinks.

2

rot wrote

I drink it room temp

I'm definitely going to have to try both ways now. :) I'm really excited. I've been looking for a non-water drink that wasn't too sweet.

I'm going to the store for some unfiltered raw ACV tomorrow. I have to try this. :)

Some coffee, natural fruit juices, lots of water. Used to drink a fair amount of alcohol, now it's mostly just beer, with the occasional vodka or assorted distilled drinks.

on any given day its 1-2 coffee or 1-2 energy drinks, with 3-6 beers.

Fossidarity OP wrote

That's a lot of beer everyday, do you notice any health issues from this?

1

ConquestOfToast wrote

Generally no. Sometimes I go a bit too hard with liqour and that upsets things but most of the time the drinks are spread out so it's not like im just slamming them
