I can't function at all without 7 hours of sleep at least. I do better on 8 or 9 hours tho; which I only get on weekends. A lot of weekdays I only get 6 and am out of it all day.

I know it's some kind of badge of honor for people to brag about getting by with less sleep, but my quality of life collapses when I cut back. I don't die if I get 6 or 7 most nights, but I have more stomach aches, more headaches, a shorter temper, poorer concentration, and less motivation to exercise.

I can't function if I oversleep; If I get 10 I'll be tired for the rest of the day. Usually I aim to be in bed 8 hours before waking up, asleep for ~7 hours.

I need 9 to feel well rested. Best I do during the work week is 7.5. Hard to go to bed when I need to when it's light out til 930-10. I function but feel like garbage and by the end of the week it's a struggle to not be irritable as hell.
