I just came over here from reddit, I hope people over here are nicer.

Ditto, but I'm hoping to find a sub full of arseholes so I can feel at home. (It's no fun to be an arse around nice people, you know? Kinda like playing chess against someone who'd rather play checkers.)

You mean you want to play whack'a'mole and nice people want to play chess. ;P

They are. The trolls are easy to spot and annoying but the community itself is very welcoming, inclusive, and accepting.

I'm new too.

Yeah I use it. There aren't really any non-anarchists on here to argue with.

I'm a non-anarchist.

I should have said non-leftist. I more meant arguing with libertarians & such.

I'm a libertarian and support capitalism, rare breed on here

Libertarians are anarchists. You're just a conservative who likes weed.

You're wrong. I believe in freedom but not anarchy.

Capitalism inevitably results in corruption and oppression, which is inherently opposed to freedom. If you truly supported freedom, you would be anti-capitalist.

If you're looking to argue, argue you're gonna get. Just don't be ashamed to get LOGIC-ED by an old man with a cane.

Nope, I deleted my account pretty soon after I joined raddle.
raddle's so much better than reddit, why would you go back?

I still use it to answer questions and make remarks to people, as I do here. For me there's no effective difference between the two; I just prefer how Raddle runs on libre software, compared to reddit.

Yes, for lurking. Despite the usual bouts of bigotry, it's still a good content aggregator, and there is some good discussion to be found on medium-sized subreddits.

I use it as much as I used to use raddle (about 15 mins/day). I am trying to use raddle as much/more than I used to use reddit. The more time I spend on raddle, the more I hate reddit.

Only to spam raddle links or memes I make that are watermarked with raddle links. And also random news links so I don't get banned for doing nothing but spamming raddle links.

I really can't stand being on reddit and interacting with reddit people.

We need you here and somebody else can do what you just described if you're ready to delegate. There's only so many hours a day and so much patience one person can be expected to have.

Spit my own words back in my face the minute you see me infantalizing my adult kids or otherwise needing to follow my own advice. :P
