Uh didn't we just do this?

Hitler added his own industrial flair to it. Somewhat off-topic, but I've been reading Blessed is the Flame (about anarcho-nihilism and concentration camp resistance) and highly recommend it. Quick read.

Edit: Oh I see what you were going for.

Hitler had the advantage of technology so he could do it on an industrial scale. No doubt the US would've gone the route of Korea and Vietnam (carpet bombing everyone and everything) on the indigenous people if they had the same technology. And the US literally inspired Hitler.

The Holocaust was a Fordist model of genocide, whereas the the US practice is more akin to carpet bombing (literally and figuratively) - just destroy the basic structure of a society and let it unravel on its own - Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen (via proxy), most of Central America in the 80s, and SE Asia in the 60s and 70s....
