I don't like that people think the platform is dying just because of drama. Just add more (anti-statist, anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, etc) content you like. I also am pretty extreme in my dislike for anyone that thinks they are an Anarchist, but don't give a shit about intersectional solidarity, or somehow don't believe in institutionalized patriarchy/white supremacy/cis-hetero-normativity.

My expectation is that their are a lot of trolls who attempt to sow discord by suggesting the site is "ruined" when it isn't. I still find interesting conversation and links that I enjoy here. Maybe it's just because of the places I've been on the net, but the drama has never scared me away, but then again I haven't exactly been a huge target of it, so I'm not experiencing the same side of it. Also, my usage of the Internet is sporadic and intermittent, so my experiences of the space and drama is not the most informed.

I don't hate transhumanists as much as I just don't understand them, but attempting to call them on their unnecessary shit slinging has resulted in more childish shit-slinging in the past, which I am guilty of being drawn into.

I still feel like it's the best "reddit clone" style site out there, with the best enforced policies that seem to do a not-bad job at keeping the ocean of piss beyond the walls. Good enough for me.

edits: Some grammar..

It's not that I think the site is ruined because of drama, but the issue is that people are less invested in improving it overall due to some of the shit that has happened. I think there's objectively less engagement now.

I know that's how I feel about it at least.

Case in point.
