I'm sorry, but I don't have a master craftsman's skillset required for being displaced by the industrial revolution.

My skillset is appropriate for being needed in ushering in our eventual AI Dieties.

I'm down to form a militia of confused people, and we can march through town being confused, or camp secretively in the hills guerilla style and also be confused.

Who is Ludd, anyway? I don't know. What is a luddite? I'm guessing a kind of rock named after some geologist. And militia? It's like a murder of crows, yes? A morbid name for a dinner party. Now I'll go and gather cattail roots and stop being verbally confused. (But the trace of confusion remains. Once a person is confused, they can only with great difficulty be un-confused.)

Lately I have been quite pessimistic, they are too many and better armed, and if you can create a militia that can survive the confrontation there are many chances that you will have become just what you want to destroy.
And above all.
I no longer believe in "comrades" and friends I see that even the most "anarchists" in the end think only about money and creating hierarchies instead of destroying them, I have seen squats, communes ... friends and comrades do nothing but suck and I have no doubt that a militia would do even worse.

I mean tbh if people I lived with were down I'm definitely interested in learning how to shoot, and take care of guns (as well as bows, crossbows or slings) as well as practicing martial arts. It was controversial in my house when a couple of us wanted to get a crossbow. For me this thing about 'them' being better armed isnt super important, I read enough about various insurgencies to know that you don't necessarily need superior firepower. Idk if me wanting to learn this stuff with my friends really constitutes a militia though.

And I know that Nazis train with guns and martial arts and so do the cops, so I think it makes sense for the anarchists to do it too.

Totally agree about the dangers of becoming what we want to destroy, but I don't think that's its a given things pan out that way.

Just trying to get like minded people armed and do what we can to stop further technological advances.
