I quite disliked it, in particular the introductory/framing stuff; the white person talking next to books, the unnecessary ocean metaphor, the choices of concepts (praxis instead of direct action, and a confused definition of praxis on top of that), the inclusion of 'anarcho-capitalism', for example. It reads like someone on the outside trying to quickly come to grips with what anarchism is and make sense off of it after reading a few things and interspersing it with non-anarchist stuff they knew separately.

Starting to wonder if anybody's made a good one.

Quite strange to me that sub.media doesn't seem to have made one.

I like the way the flavors of anarchism are described as different answers of the same fundamental question(s), and the emphasis that core ideas found in many other places were invented by anarchists.

I haven't ever articulated all of the things that don't work for me about this video, but it's never sat right with me.

I would be really interested to hear more about the decisions that were made in putting this together. And especially the video, which despite the same words I feel is worse than the booklet.

I would also be very interested to hear if the people who put that project together feel like it was successful.

But they have! Kind of... Their "A is for anarchy" series is good for short explanations of some fundamentals of anarchy/anarchism.

On top of that, their "Trouble Series" which goes on for 30 minutes per topic is also very useful. Especially the ones that have double digits. ("Season 2")
