Well I still do this in some level, not just snacks but booze and weed too..

And it's natural, many teenagers that I knew that had issues with poverty and lack of food in their infancy would buy copious amounts of food with their first pay to have a little feast on their own, like a whole rotisserie chicken, a couple of hamburgers in their favorite fastfood chain, huge packets of cookies.. I guess that there's some satisfaction in paying for food or drinks when you are adult. I don't think it is ridiculous, it's sad that some people can't have the minimum to eat.

That is true
i guess just feel like ridiculous because everyone else see that way. Like they gave money to me on purpose not helping me so i would "prove" I can not handle money. Maybe would not matter what i bought and did with it, i guess

I used to own a camera and I thought photographing some wildlife would be fun, so I bought a lens for 1600 bucks (used). Didn’t use it that much and ended up selling it for 1200 again after a few years. Was nice trying something new though.

Did you make some nice photos?

A few, yes but mostly from animals which weren’t shy. Turns out it’s quite hard to track a deer down and sneak up to it. Should’ve put up a tent and just wait it out. But no L there, I always took home nice experiences and got to connect with nature.

You would be amazed at how approachable some animals can get if they live in an area without natural predators.
