call center for obamacare bc we had access to private information we weren't allowed to have anything at our desks that we could use to record information. no devices. not even paper. sometimes on shift there would be 20-30 minutes between calls and we could not do anything with that time. no internet access. nothing on the computer except the insurance portal. I'm not super social and didn't have anything on common with the people sitting near me so i had to just sit there.

it was a horror show for my mental health bc i do not do well with having nothing to do. it was good pay, good benefits, if you could deal with the downtime and i could not.

God that sounds like my nightmare.

Yeah a call center was my worst job too. Like honestly in the top three worst times of my life.
