It's hard to say because it would base on what the feed plant does. If they don't have to maintain human standards u would have non health issues from lack of sanitary. Spent chewing tobacco residue, loogies, cig ash, dead birds and manure would all be pretty real possibilities.

But the deal prob won't be as good as u think. The processing of food gets out a lot of shaft n stuff. For instance soybeans are super expensive so I just jumped in the grain bin and got some and tbh it's a pain in the ass and I'm pretty unpicky. There is a lot of fussing u have to do which is annoying.

Preppers have talked about buying straight from the farmers but u get so much shaft that it doesn't store well and it's not as cheap as u think bc u get way more dirt and shaft. So u have to lug arround all that stuff and it stores like shit.

I wouldn't worry about pesticides too much tho some do use deadly amounts some times. But in my experience everything is pretty benign for the end user. The dangers are more for applicators. Tho there are a few outliers. Sure it's not the best but pesticides n stuff are the least of my worries tbh.

Plus u have to almost certainly buy a lot. People feeding animals don't buy such small amounts that u would be able to eat it. If u do get someone to mess around with one person there is going to be a big price hike. Also where do u like that u are worried about the price of grains.

I do live in US but like grains are so fuck off cheap that there is no great savings tbh. If ur that concerned just eat rice or whatever it would be way less of a pain in ur ass than lugging 30 pound sacks of oats arroudn then having weivils infest the next 29 pounds so u throw it out of eat wevil and shaft oatmeal.

Also why are u using the words organic and health. They are just words used to sell things to middle class people at higher prices bc they are complete marks. I think that's probably more your problem. Don't buy health or organic food.

the problem is that whole grains are considered "exotic". lmao
So it's not always easy to find affordable non-organic whole grains.
