No, there have just been a lot of frenzied debates on other leftist sites about it. Like on r/anarchism, they wanted to remove 'speciesism' from the list of oppressive acts, and in Hexbear there was a 2 month long civil war when the admins banned all the vegans, claiming veganism is racist.

The last time someone tried to change the policies about speciesism there, it took an orchestrated campaign on r/veganarchism to prevent it. Meat fans see the word 'speciesism' and get angry that the word paints their culinary hobby as oppressive.
