Honestly when talking to people about a few odd relationship dynamics wordw like SIMP are quite useful tho as its a kinda alt right term it has a lot of baggage. Im curious if there is a term they help cnvey the meanjng of SIMP in a non problematic context.

I have an equally problematic word: whipped.

I generally feel that cuck and simp generally tell you more about the person that is using the word than the target.

I feel "whipped" is a bit less problematic, but still somewhat.

Ideas (mostly bad ideas):
Romantically Obsessive - ROb? \

Commited Non-reciprocal Relationship - CNR? \

Being emotionally and unilaterally treated in fraternisation, ultimately limiting love yourself - BEAUTIFULLY? No probably not\

Commited Un-reciprocal Nieve Trysts - CU... actually this acronym might get confusing.

ROb is genius, I'm gonna use that.

CNR sounds like a revolutionary group lol

BEAUTIFULLY is clever, but too long

lmao at CU(...)!

language is yours to play with

But the point is having language that is clear and quickly understands what I'm talking about. I want better language so I can avoid taking the time to explain what they specifically do. I can only see making up a new term as reducing clarity and requiring more effort to explain than just saying what they did. Which is kinda the wrong dirrection for me to go in.

My partner and i use the word simp as a way of jokingly saying "i'd do anything for you" lol.

Because i only ever really use it in that context (which feels like a positive, goofy way) it's never felt problematic, but i'd be interested to hear what other people's thoughts are?

If the main usage is in a derogatory way, specifically because it implies that putting someone else's needs before your own is weak or shameful, then ya i would agree it's probably problematic.

But (imo) few words are inherently problematic, so if we want to reclaim it from the alt right then i think that's possible...

Oh just fuck right off. U know full and well why that's a messed up thing to say.

Well for one, they are swear words and are made to offend. They insult one's masculinity. So yes, it is obviously problematic.

Although I get the sentiment, the idea of being a simp as a word of offense should remain as such, be used and righteously cause offense. It's a challenge for men to actually find love rather than feeding their expectations that capital investment in women would reap rewards.

On the otherhand Cuck is an insult which victim-blames, Cucks should be met with sympathy not insult. So, I believe the term should die altogether.

About your description however, there is nothing wrong with being a bottom. If you want a term that has the same definition but does not insult combining the three above, I guess you got yourself a yandere.
