The growing awareness that the world needs grocery store clerks and nurses, and all other workers MUCH more than it needs CEOs and all the bosses. The entire billionaire class could have disappeared and no one would have known the difference.

Seeing the normalization of something closer to my lifestyle, I think. Staying in, not engaging in commercial activity more than necessary, not eating out, general suspicion haha

Oh, and masks. I never thought I'd see the day when I show up to a protest and hear libs heckling participants to wear masks. Truly the end times.

Protesting in masks are blessing! But, there are reports of people tracked by facial recognition even when they are wearing masks.

I remember hearing of faces being popped after standing rock, despite being masked. I have no illusions that there arent enough unique points above the cheeks to let facial recognition work, and my conspiracy mind thinks facial recognition companies are loving the mass mask use as a means to ramp up their ability to id ppl despite obfuscation.

Still semi occuring near where I am but less humans and more animals in the local parks and natural spaces. I like being able to go to these places and enjoy them without the noise and especially the trash caused by the presence of people.
