It's good security culture to always assume the worst and take all precautionary measures, whatever you do on the internet.

But it's much more likely you'd be on a list for browsing a radical reddit sub, since reddit hands over user info to the feds and collects a shitload of info from you.

Raddle doesn't even store IP addresses for longer than 24 hours now, and it's one of a few interactive websites that is completely functional without javascript.

To guarantee your privacy (you can bet your ISP is spying on you), use Tor.

I'm browsing Raddle from a school chromebook. I must be on so many lists ._.

You are definitely on a list, then. I wish more people learned about how to anonymize themselves online before they learned about communism - I think I am the only one of my comrades that didn't associate their real identity with communism.

I did! But I associate with communism IRL anyway and give my username out to tons of people…

What could happen?

You know, the government is especially good at turning people against some group or country. They can turn everyone against us, then it will be legal to kill anarchists (we will be called terrorists). Then they can use their space weapons to aim at the targets (me, you and every one who is and could be anarchist or communist in the future) selected by A.I.

Something like that. Maybe not that exaggerated.

For the time being nothing; if something were to happen it would be when we become a real threat to the state\capitalism.

Any chance I can get a job without the boss finding my username?

How would your boss find your username? Is it linked to your real ID?

Be the biggest red dot on their radar. Be the number one in their lists. It means you're doing it right.
